I have too many school teacher friends to actually come out and question why we have Spring Break. I get it, I really do. But...WHY DO WE HAVE TO HAVE SPRING BREAK???
Long story short: they're killing me.
Slowly. Mercilessly.
And it's only Monday.

I think it's because of Easter... Kind of like Christmas break that we now call "winter" break.
Realistically though, it's because every March teachers start feeling exactly the way you feel right now. :) Don't get me wrong--I really do like my students, but boy have they been crazy for the last couple weeks!

You just pile in the car and come to Idaho. That'll fix everything ;)
I found myself practically yelling this at my children yesterday after a quick trip to the store. And it was only Monday!!! I feel your pain. Today we are going on a bike ride/picnic. Just to simply get out of the house. I bet you can't wait until summer, huh? That dreadful thought keeps passing through my head. What in the world am I going to do with them all summer?!?!
As a teacher, I loved Spring Break. However, it makes April and May extremely long months. As a parent, I agree with you, Amy. What is the need? It just makes the parents crazy! Christmas break is the same. Kids at home too much makes for a crazy mother. This is why I am so excited for my Kindergartener to be going to 1st grade next year.....she needs to be at school everyday.
