Today I made a stop at The Dollar Store.
The guy in front of me in line holds an item up to the cashier and asks, "How much is this?" (And I assure you...he was completely serious.)
To which the cashier calmly responded, "One dollar."
I laughed the whole way out to my car.

First thought to my mind ... "Here's your sign!"
In defense of this guy- Not all dollar stores have everything for a dollar! Lucky for us the one by our house does. That is funny, though.
I bet he was doing it on a dare. Amy, I double dare you to ask how much something is next time you go...
He couldn't be serious. It just has to be a joke. It actually sounds very much like something my husband would say just to get a reaction.
Amy..love reading your blog!
Hahahahahaha!!!! I needed that laugh!
Amy please apologize to Ian. I realized after the fact that my reaction yesterday probably hurt his feelings, although it was completely not directed toward him. I wasn't fully grasping the whole division of HTing by quorums (I grew up with no brothers in a small branch, so this is all Greek to me). I at first thought he was going to be comps with Tony F, and was bummed when I realized they wouldn't be. It wasn't that we were bummed to have Ian. I hope he knew that!!! Anyway, we love you guys, and are excited to have him as our HTer.
My first thought, too...."Here's your sign!"
