Today I peeked outside at my blackberry bushes. Right now most of the berries look like this:
But some of them are starting to look like this:
It looks like we're going to have a great harvest this August. Yummy!

My mother-in-law made us some blackberry jam last summer. It was delicious!! Enjoy!
My mom's berry plant last year ROCKED!! My dad's favorite was her homemade blackberry pies...this year's harvest has not been so fruitful, same with the garden. Sure do miss my dad and his gardening knowledge! But oh how delicious your berries look. Good thing they keep coming back each year!
