What's In a Name?

Our kids all have nicknames. It's the way we roll. Our newest addition (yes, I realize at 17 months he's no longer "new"...whatever) has been assigned "Bubba" and "Turdis", among others.

Following the eightieth injury this week, however, Ian and I decided we missed the nickname boat and both agreed that something like "Bruiser" would more aptly describe the attitude and condition of our little man.

Our boy has become "thud" personified.

Hey...that's not a bad nickname either.

Holy Smokes! That is one huge goose egg. Poor little guy.

We're huge on nicknames, too. It's amazing our children even know their given names!

OUCH!! What did he do to get that whopper? Bruiser is a great nickname for him.

OH! Oh! Ohhhhh! PAINFUL!!!!! Poor kid. We've been doing furniture rearranging at our house -- daily. Adam is into climbing on the kitchen table and dancing, so we now have all the kitchen chairs lined up in a row in the family room. He walks them like a balance beam, surfs the rocking chair and couches....My heart gets a daily adrenaline work-out chasing after him. I feel for ya!

Oh! That is a good one! I had one like that once - when I was 12! You'll have to ask me to tell the story. One of my more embarrassing moments. I feel his pain. But, I still turned out pretty normal, so you have hope.

Ryan was behind me when I saw the picture and all he could say was "Wow! That is REALLY big!" So sorry.

Poor kid! He's adorable even with a goose egg on his head! . . . At least you have nice nicknames for your kids. Unfortunately, ours are unmentionable! :) By the way, the pictures of your girls in your previous post are BEAUTIFUL!
Thanks again for the yummy dinner - I mean, treat! You are a sweetheart!

Oh my gosh! That so makes my head hurt. Logan was looking with me and said that he looks like a dinosaur :) We have had a few of those ourselves.
