For the last few months Lindy has been growing her hair out with the goal of donating some of her AMAZING hair to Locks of Love. Today was the big day.

She is much braver than I am...it was a little difficult for me to watch those scissors in action.

Ah, on sunday we were just commenting on Lindy's lovely locks. That is amazing. She looks so grown up with short hair!!!

I don't think my last comment saved. Rats. This post made me cry! What a beautiful girl with such an amazing heart and soul. Go Lindy!!! Ashlyn and I donated a while back, and it is one of the most memorable experiences. If you go to the website you can print off a certificate for Lindy to put in her scrap book. She looks adorable. And what a gift. I lost my best friend as well as another friend to leukemia as a teen. Having seen what they go through, and the difference in their self-conscious level after they receive their wig -- it means absolutely the WORLD to them. I think I'm going to cry again. What a big girl you are, Lindy.

Holy Moly I love it!! I was looking at your post above this one and took a few looks to make sure I was seeing Lindy right...I love it short. She is such a cute girl and definately makes her look more grown up. I just can't get over how stinkin thick those ponytails are. Way to go Lindy!
