Safety Is Our Number One Goal

Today I took Curtis to the store to pick out his very own (non-pink) bike helmet. He opted for the very manly HotWheels edition:

The gender-appropriate gear helps compensate for our lack of male-influenced wheels. See?...he's so happy now.

Maybe he should just keep that helmet on, like all the time. Always. Like how Megan has to put her glasses on right when she wakes up, that's how it could be with Curtis. He would get used to it in a few days.

(church could be a little weird, though- especially if he starts head-butting the nursery) kids. ...

Does the wiggle car give him holes in his socks too?

As a matter of fact, we've thrown away an absurd amount of little boy socks over the last month and a half.

I'm going to have to give in and buy him some Crocs.

Yes, we too are working on purchasing non-pink items for Logan. Fortunately, as hard as was to resist, we passed on the darling purple and pink tricycle last summer and bought the red, yellow and blue one for Brooklyn so Logan would have a more gender specific tricycle this summer. Plus, we saved money from having to buy another trike!
