One Week

Curtis is one week old today. Already I'm amazed at how quickly time flies! It's been a fun week getting to know this new little one. Our first night home was a little nerve-wracking. He screamed and screamed and we were afraid that he might take after his oldest sister and keep us awake for months on end. Luckily he's been getting better each night. We're finally at a manageable schedule of waking up every 3 or so hours to eat. That I can do. Ellie seems to be a little more accepting of the new guy and Lindy is completely enthralled with his every move.

Here are some highlights of our first week:

Holy cow! We have 3 kids!

He's a serious kind of guy.

Sibling bonding

Lindy likes to talk to her brother.

So far he's not a fan of bath time.

Oh my!! I just had a total reality check of having a new born again! I love the pictures and am so glad you've been doing so well. Your kids are beautiful. The older Lindy gets, she sure is starting to look more like her mom!

I know it's only 7 days...but seriously! I can't believe it's been a week already! I'm so glad you're all adjusting! I'll call you...maybe Lindy and Ellie can come play with Jace and you can have a rest. After getting up every 3 hours, I'm sure you need one!

Every day I think I will call and ask if I could bring dinner or something to help you out, but then I think, oh she might be sleeping, feeding, or just not want visitors right then. I apologize. I will try to get up the courage to call you tomorrow. Until then don't hesitate to call me if you need anything.

What awesome pictures! You are such a diligent blogger. I love checking your blog often to see what is new, that little guy looks so sweet. Me in all of my professional bloggingness, somehow jumped to January and was reading that stuff, Amy, you are so funny and such a great writer, I've decided you need to write a book!

3 kids is enough...stop there! Take it from me with 4, too many! I don't know which one we would send back, probably a different one each day. :)

Love the pictures! I think he looks just like Ian. The girls look so excited. My boys were always so uninterested after the first few minutes. Probably a boy vs. girl thing. Looks like you should get lots of help though!Let me know if you need anything.
