A quick update: This afternoon I went to the grocery store BY MYSELF. I have to be honest and admit that I wondered aimlessly for several minutes enjoying the peace and quiet (it's all relative) of a shopping trip sans children.
Oh, and my fat lip has returned to normal. Phew!

That freedom sounds delightful, especially after reading about your "fun" trip to Costco. But you know what's even better? Sending Hubby to do the grocery store. There are some perks to unemployment. :)
Sounds like it was well deserved!
I love shopping without my children. It is so much more relaxing and I don't end up going home having forgot half of what I went for because I can actually concentrate on what I am doing instead of working on crowd control.
