Not a Morning Person

If you've ever asked yourselves any of the following questions:

1. Why is Lindy a "Later Gator" (starting school at 9:15am) instead of an "Early Bird" (at 8am)?
2. Why is the Jones family habitually late for 9am Church?
3. Why does Amy look so haggard first thing in the morning?

It's because THIS is what 8:15am looks like at our house:

When a 6 year old hates getting up in the morning this much there's just no chance of starting a day off right.

Wow, good luck getting her out of bed when she is a teenager!

That's the funniest/saddest thing I've seen all day! I'm amazed that during the drama you think to grab your camera. Awesome.

Oh boy, do I know that feeling! I have to drag my kids out of bed for school, but they do go early.

And I was all sorts of grumpy on Sunday when our church time went from 1 pm to 9 am.

I often feel just like Lindy looks. Poor girl. I feel for her (and you. :))

Amen sister! I do not do early morning unless I absolutely have to. We have 8:30 AM church now, which is so hard on a weekend when all you want to do is sleep in. If only the world started at 10:00 AM instead of 7:00 AM........

Looks like you guys need a 6 o'clock bedtime. Or maybe you could buy some Pop Tarts...

Honestly I can't think of a harder challenge than a child who hates mornings. I'll take my early rising 2-year-old any day. *Except today. 5 AM. Some days he has to go back down for a nap before the others even wake up.

I keep trying to think of some grand idea to help you out but I got nuthin'. I did finish Devil in the White City, though. What a fascinating read.
