Then The Kids Woke Up

And suddenly I'm no longer bored...but wish that I was.

Why is it that we can have oodles of "projects" and "to-do lists" that need our attention, but when we have a few spare moments we'd rather veg out than spend our precious energy accomplishing something of value? I'm beginning to feel that I have become a little too familiar with the weekly television schedule than I probably should. And it's possible that I'm spending far too much time doing exactly this...venting via the internet. So my house, my kids, and my to-do lists suffer because when I have any ounce of free time I'd rather proclaim to the world, "Entertain me!" than actually do something productive.

You make me laugh! I loved your I'm bored post!...and I'm totally relating to today's post. Why do we do this? I'm right there with ya! I'm think I'm trying to escape my reality...maybe it's that bad! :)

WOW! I know the feeling. I have to work infront of the computer all day so I kind of kill two birds with one stone. But I know that my to do lists are long. I have some vinyl lettering I got in NOVEMBER that I still have put on plaques. I really suck!

Yeah, I hear ya! So... frolicing, that is totally why you weren't invited to frolic, but for sure, I don't care if your not sleeping and are sooooo tired (waaa) You are coming to frolic next time. And the brownies, they were really disgusting, I laughed that I took half the pan to Nat cause they really were yucky. I threw the rest in the garbage, I hope that she did too. I'll have to bring you some real ones next time. I give up the low fat treats, they are not delicious!

Aim -I love reading your blog. I laugh out loud at every post! So thanks for 'venting via the Internet'. That way I don't have to go find something to watch on tv to entertain myself! Your kids are beautiful and little Curtis....what a handsome dude! Loved Lindy's picture of her emotions. McKenna is not far behind her in the drama department.

Who else will listen to our rantings and ravings, complaints and accomplishments, see what's in our fridge and find out random facts about each other than our faithful blogging friends. Why not vent through this wonderful system where you say everything, without actually saying anything. Wouldn't we like that at home...if the kids would blog-fight, or blog-yell, or even blog-play. What a peaceful world it would be. LOL
So to you, my friend, in your spare time...blog-away, just blog-away!

I hear ya! Right now Mason is sleeping. He has been asleep for a while now, but what have I accomplished? NOTHING! I can tell you however what exactly is on sale online at Old Navy and Gap right now.
