The Fourth has always been a fun day for our family. This year was no exception. The kids were dressed to celebrate from the get-go.
The Davidson's hosted a barbeque and there was food enough to feed an army! Amy D. makes one mean hamburger patty! After lunch, Amy D. and Steven G. threw water balloons at the kids down on the grass from under the shade of the covered porch. Now that's the way to do it! The kids loved it and had a blast. This picture is my absolute favorite from the day:
Later on that evening we got together with a group of neighbors for our annual firework celebration! 
The kids were all exhausted but enjoyed the show.
