Don't worry...I'm not confused. (Well, not any more than normal.) I'm simply celebrating my Canadian heritage by enjoying a FANTABULOUS turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
And before you ask...yes, Canadians DO celebrate Thanksgiving. We don't have the whole pilgrim/indian dealio, but the fundamentals are the same: gratitude for a plentiful harvest, etc. etc. Since the harvest happens earlier up in the great white north, our Thanksgiving falls a little earlier in the year. Here's a picture of me expressing my gratitude for a plentiful harvest:

Ian is in Moab on another mountain bike adventure, so Jody took a couple days off to hang out with me and my offspring. I'm not sure she was completely prepared for the insanity of this household, but she has endured well. Today we took the kids up to the Living Planet Aquarium. We got to see all sorts of marine life and we were able to touch some fairly disgusting sea creatures to boot! The girls were in HEAVEN! At one point I thought Ellie might actually pass out from the excitement.

Thanks for a fun day, Jody...and Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I could totally handle a turkey day twice a year, lucky girl!
Sweet two Thanksgivings! I'm loving that picture of you. I think you should blow it up and frame it in your kitchen.
two thanksgivings, that doesn't suck at all. do you get two christmases?
Happy Thanksgiving to you my friend! I'm glad that you and your sis could hang out for the holiday, looks like fun. I love the Living Planet Aquarium, not so much the UT side, but the sea stuff is super cool. I love the sting rays!
Happy Thanksgiving to you too! That turkey looks delicious! Glad that you had your sister to help you celebrate.
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! Glad to see you enjoy your turkey so much! :)
