I'm going to make a confession: Sometimes I don't like people. (Gasp! What did Amy just say?) That's right, I said it...I don't like people.
As I was leaving the grocery store, with the children in tow, I passed by a nosy, overbearing, old lady who looked at my entourage, did a little "tsk-tsk" to herself and announced, accusingly, to the world, "That poor baby is probably so cold!" With a disappointed shake of her head she then sauntered into the store.
Stunned, I turned to examine my "neglected" infant and went through the following in my head:
Onesie: check
Sweatpants: check
Sweatshirt: check
Socks: check
Shoes: check
Tuque: check (that's a "knit hat" for you un-Canadians)
Heavy blanket: check
Am I missing something here? If anything, the poor boy is probably sweating like a pig!
PEOPLE! It's one thing to viciously foist your opinion on unsuspecting citizens when you have a valid point. It's quite another to make a ridiculous assertion based on nothing but your mistaken observations! Grrr...
On a more chipper note, look how cute my baby looks in said tuque (he's so serious):

When I read your title I was like...oh crap...she really is mad at me for bailing on her!! He He! ...glad it's just the dumb lady at the store! I had someone do that to me once when Camry was a baby and I almost cried!! WHATEVER! People are so annoying...and he looks absolutley ADORABLE in his little...whatever you call it...
He is SO adorable. And I'm sure that he was plenty warm at the store. People are just grouchy and they want other's to be grouchy too.

What a weirdo! People are so funny. He does look cute in his tuque. Did you know in N. Carolina they call them toboggans? It caused a bit of confusion when an officer Sean works with said on the radio that a suspect was running with a toboggan on his head. I thing Tuque is much better, even better than beanie.
Your boy is so flippin cute! If it weren't so I'd not even bother saying it, I'd just keep my mouth shut but it be true, Serioulsy cute!
Oh and he also like you might want to put some ski pants over his jeans, his legs might catch a chill.

I know other people's mindless comments shouldn't bother me but they always get under my skin, too. Sure doesn't look like you're missing anything.
I totally agree with you.. I am glad you had the guts to come out and say it- seriously there are bad moms in the world whose babies toes are not covered and I will probably be one of them but you are def not! And he is adorable! We enjoyed your crime story in Sunday school too!
